The Oppong Nkrumah Education and Skills Development Fund was founded in 2017 by MP for Ofoase Ayirebi and Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to provide education and skills development support for the youth of his beloved constituency. Between 2017 and 2022, the fund has provided scholarships to more than 300 constituents across different tertiary institutions in the country.
Through the fund, the Ayirebi Presby JHS was constructed, and plans are far advanced for the construction of a modern Information and Communication Technology (ICT) center in the Akyemansa District to ensure that all pupils and students in the area are computer literates.
