The State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, recently launched the State of the Agencies Report initiative. The aim of this initiative is to promote transparency and accountability by informing the public about the activities and projects of Specified Entities (SEs).
The SEs are entities that are wholly or partially owned by the government, including Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). The State of the Agencies Report initiative provides an opportunity for these entities to report on their activities and achievements, as well as any challenges they face in delivering on their mandates. It also provides an avenue for feedback and input from the public, which can help to improve the performance of the SEs.
