As part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency, Member of Parliament, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has provided the constituency with it first dedicated medical doctor.
The doctor, who now has a permanent residence in the district was also given a pick-up vehicle to help in his transportation needs.
This comes at the back of the construction of a state-of-the-art medical theatre at Brenase to see to the medical needs of constituents.
The Minister in his brief remarks during the inauguration ceremony of the medical theatre said this forms part of his strategic master plan that will result in a total revamping of health service delivery in the constituency.
He hinted at the revamping of other health facilities in the district to boost the stock of infrastructural facilities in the constituency so as to improve his constituent’s equity gap in geographical access to health services.
