President Akufo-Addo has commissioned a mini stadium for the people of Ofoase/Ayirebi in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region. The 70 by 110 sized pitch is the biggest in the country and is part of government's much touted agenda of constructing 100 artificial parks across the country.
Addressing a durbar which was highly attended by Ministers and other government officials, Traditional and Religious leaders, and other well-known dignitaries, the President said the provision of the sports infrastructure is instrumental to harnessing talents and catapulting the nation into regaining its status as a sporting giant on the African continent.
He called on the chiefs and people in the area to continue believing in his government because the NPP government will surely honor all its promises
Member of Parliament for the area, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah called for it to be well maintained for the benefit of all.
